Senior WordPress Developer/Front-end Developer

Job Title: Senior WordPress Developer/Front-end Developer for Digital Marketing Firm (Full Time (40 hours/week) or Part-Time  (20 hours/week) – 100% Remote

LaGrande Marketing, a digital marketing firm focused on helping lawyers, searching for an experienced, highly skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic digital marketing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects, including website development, design alterations, blog post integration, and more. The perfect candidate should be well-versed in the technical aspects of WordPress development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Additionally, hands-on experience with page builders such as Beaver Builder (primary builder), WPBakery, and Elementor will be highly appreciated. As a senior developer, you will be instrumental in creating impactful, user-friendly websites for our clients, playing a crucial role in our agency’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage WordPress websites and custom themes.
  2. Make regular design adjustments to websites based on client or team feedback.
  3. Integrate blog posts and other content onto websites.
  4. Build high-quality, responsive UI components with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  5. Customize themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
  6. Troubleshoot and fix website bugs and issues promptly.
  7. Maintain and manage Kinsta servers.
  8. Collaborate with the design and marketing team to develop effective web pages.
  9. Improve website performance and ensure website security.
  10. Stay updated with the latest WordPress features and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. At least 5+ years of experience with WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  3. Extensive experience with page builders like Beaver Builder, WPBakery, and Elementor.
  4. Proven experience with Kinsta servers.
  5. Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  6. Familiarity with website optimization techniques.

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the COO and CEO.

Work Arrangement:

Job Hours are 8 am to 4 pm Dallas, Texas, USA time. This is a full-time remote position. We offer a flexible work schedule but expect the candidate to maintain a level of overlap with the rest of the team’s working hours for collaborative work.
