Meet Our Team
Outside of work, I have two loves: ultra-endurance events and travel.
Over ten years ago, I left the world of investment banking and wealth management in NYC to branch out on my own. I first combined my love of law with my desire to help people make smart financial decisions in a series of resources called “Divorce and Your Money.” Then I developed LaGrande Marketing to help law firms grow their practices. For the full story, check it out in my book or reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’ve been to over 30 countries, and my goal is to get to 100.
“Character consists of what you do on the third and fourth tries.” – James A. Michener
I have over 17 years of marketing experience. After spending most of my career centered in the field of higher education, I joined LaGrande four years ago. Working with so many different types of law firms is a challenge I relish.
Instead of sending traditional Christmas cards, in my family, we photoshop ourselves into different situations to create unexpected holiday greetings.
Words are like pieces of broken glass. They can cut if you’re not careful. And if you just pile them up, they look like trash. But when you fit them together in a certain way, you can see art in the result.
I’ve been writing professionally since I graduated law school in 1992, but I detoured from legal writing and editing for several years to focus on fiction, journalism, and marketing copy. When I returned to writing about legal topics, I felt that the experience in other fields improved my ability to explain legal concepts.
My characters take over when I write fiction. I forget that I’m supposed to be in charge.
“When you convert a good book to a film, stupid things happen.” – Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl
I worked in the creative industry for around eight years and served in various office roles for about four years. At LaGrande Marketing, I get to help channel creative talents to produce bottom line results.
One time I went with a friend just to “look” at dogs from a rescue center. Now I have a dog…

“For your born writer, nothing is so healing as the realization that he has come upon the right word.” – Catherine Drinker Bowen
Over the past seven years, I developed a range of skills working in the fields of virtual assistance, project management and copy editing. My experience working for tech startup firms gave me an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by growing businesses.
I spend my free time writing books and crocheting cardigans (even though I live in the desert)
My happy place is creating something beautiful
After working in a variety of roles for most of my life, I have realized that being resourceful is the key to supporting anyone in any industry. I like to work “behind the scenes” to bring things to life.
Some of my favorite times are spent enjoying photography, scrapbooking, and—believe it or not--dog grooming.
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
Before I started working for LaGrande Marketing, I taught English and Social Studies to middle school and high school students for nine years. Those kids taught me how to adapt quickly to changing situations and explore new opportunities.
I’ve traveled all over Europe. London is always where I’d rather be!
I focus on delivering an engaging, elegant, efficient, and high-quality experience.
I have over nine years of professional experience as a lead product UI/UX designer and consultant. By leveraging my expertise and adding innovation, design thinking, and problem-solving skills, I have helped boost dozens of big companies as well as startups.
One of my most interesting projects was building a private intranet for a casino.
I like my work to be a beauty with brains.
As a website designer, to me beauty is defined as code that is written cleanly, with pinpoint efficiency and accuracy. You can see the “brains” in a smart and useful end-product. When people tell me my websites look and perform like masterpieces, I know I’ve done my job.
