Google Ads recently rolled out a new feature called Google Local Services ads. Here’s why you should consider signing up for this new program.
1. List Your Specific Services
With Google Local Services ads, you can list your specific services to ensure only your ideal clients click on your ad. Right now, you have the ability to choose from 17 different service options such as criminal law, bankruptcy law, family law, and more.
2. Show Up at the Top of the Search Page
Google Local Services ads appear above even regular Google ads, so your ad is the first thing clients see when they search your area. While there aren’t many examples of this for lawyers since Google Local Services ads is such a new feature for law firms, your legal ad will be placed similarly to the ones below.
3. Pay Per Lead
Google Local Services also allow you to pay per lead rather than click,so you’ll only only be charged based on relevant clients who click your ads – not spam, fraudulent, or mistaken searches.
4. Google Verification
Another added feature of Google Local Services ads is a “Google screened” or “Google guaranteed” verification on your ad to give clients further confidence in your services.

As of right now, Google Local Services has been in a testing phase for law firms and is not available for all areas. While it might be a while until you actually see Local Services ads pop up on your search, you can follow these steps to sign up now:
